Bareboat charter Croatia is suitable for those who enjoy an active, relaxing vacation, already know how to sail
a yacht and have the necessary documentation to do so: at least a B-category skipper’s licence and a VHF radio operator’s
certificate. When booking your charter, tell us you intend to skipper yourself and send us a copy of your skipper’s
licence so we can check its validity. Please note that you should show us your licence again on arrival at our office, for
two reasons: so we can verify the original document once more, and make sure you actually have it in your possession, because
you cannot sail without it. After that, you will check in with one of our colleagues and inspect the boat’s seaworthiness
while getting to know its specific characteristics. Once you are sure the boat is seaworthy, you will sign a check list
and upon your return to harbour, go through it item by item, returning the vessel in the same condition as when you took
it over.

How to charter a boat and make a reservation
In a few steps, this is how to charter a boat easily and quickly:
- Take a look at all the vessels in our fleet
- Send us a request form (number of people, charter period and vessel length (optional))
- We will send you a detailed list of vessels available with all the charter details, as soon as possible
- After confirming which vessel you want to reserve, we will send all the necessary documentation (contract, general rental terms, estimate of costs). We will also hold a 7-day option open for you.
- Within 7 days of receiving the documents, you must return them, signed, with a copy of payment confirmation (30% of the total amount)
- Upon receiving the documents and payment, we will send you your vessel reservation confirmation (sailboat, sailing ship or motorboat).
- The balance must be paid one month before collecting the vessel. We also require the following information: crew list/name and surname, date of birth, nationality and personal identification number or passport number, a copy of your skipper’s licence, mobile phone number, exact time of arrival at our base, and other details of additional services you require, such as transport from the airport, hotel reservations, etc.)
Procedure for collecting your boat at our one of our bases
(Split ACI marina, Dubrovnik ACI marina):
- You may collect your boat from 17:00 onwards, depending on your time of arrival. The procedure should be completed during daylight
- Upon arriving at Split ACI marina or Dubrovnik ACI marina, please come to our office with your contract. The crew list details which you sent previously us will be checked. Your skipper’s licence will be copied. Leave a security deposit in cash or by credit card. Sign the general charter terms once again. If you have chosen bareboat charter (sailboat, motorboat) you may collect your boat when the check list has been gone through.
- Go through all the vessel elements on the checklist, and if anything is not clear, our expert technical team (all of whom are skippers) will explain and let you into all the boat’s secrets (sailboat, motorboat).
