First of all, choose a boat that meets your requirements. If you haven’t done so yet, view the boat lists here: Croatia sailing, charter yacht Croatia, Croatia cruise. Whatever you choose, the reservation procedure is the same. Send us a request form with the following details:
- How many cabins the vessel must have
- When and for how long you wish to charter the vessel
- Whether or not you need a skipper (whether or not you have a sailing licence)
- Your contact details.
If this is the first time you are chartering a boat and want our advice, or if you have additional questions
regarding the vessel type (sailboat, motorised yacht, gulet) or need additional explanations, please feel free to contact
us. We will gladly answer your questions and advise you regarding your choice of boat.
Within 24 hours of receiving
your charter request, we will send you a provisional booking offer. When you confirm your reservation, we will send you
the boat charter contract, general charter terms and payment options. A 30% deposit is required when the contract is signed
and the balance is due 4 weeks before the actual charter begins.
Orvas accepts Visa, MasterCard and Amex credit
cards. You can also pay in cash or by bank transfer.
If you decide to pay by credit card, you can send the number
and expiry date of your card by phone or fax. We will notify you of the completed transfer and send you a receipt.
Cancelling a charter
If you wish to cancel a reserved boat, you must do so in writing. Cancellation penalties will be calculated according
to the date of cancellation, as follows:
- Cancellations up to two months in advance - 30% of the total charter price is payable
- Cancellations up to one month in advance – the cancellation fee is equal to the total advance paid
- Cancellations less than one month in advance – the charter fee must be paid in full.
Money will be refunded when the exact amount owed to the client is determined. Refunds will be transferred
only to the client’s bank account. The costs of overseas transfers will be charged to the client.
